Your own wedding?
Yes! I edited the video of my own wedding :)
Don't worry, I didn't walk around with a camera all day as a groom, that would be too much. Though I did set up my GH5 in the corner of the room to get a nice steady shot during the ceremony. And to have a place to put my phone for a livestream for those that couldn't attend.
The way this worked is that we hired a videographer who shot the whole day on his camera. I then received the unedited video files from him and got to work.
The result is a 54-minute reflection of the day that I am quite happy with. Videos like this always show me that perfection is the enemy of good enough - there will always be little quirks I'd like to fix, or do just a bit better. But at some point, you arrive at a point where saying "this works, and it's good enough" is just fine.
